This
is a "Made in the United States" idea that came about years ago.
A
race fan as a small boy, one of the first races I remember was with
my dad at the dirt fairgrounds in Spartanburg, SC. The Shrine Race with James Hilton, Cotton
Owens, Marty Robbins and other great ones racing.
Richard
Petty signed a baby diaper and I gave him 4 firecrackers glued
together on a "Petty Blue" painted base. A small boy's
congratulations for recently winning the Firecracker 400 at
Daytona.
In the back of my dads red truck is where David
Pearson and Richard Petty watched some of that race with me.
That may be the beginning of the reason why a portion of each
item sold goes to the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

Racing Milestones (July 2005) issue, see below. |
